LEXINGTON, Ky. – The 2019 NCAA Volleyball season is in the books and the American Volleyball Coaches Association released their final rankings of the season. Following the NCAA Tournament, the Flyers rank 14th in the country.
Lewis finished the season 28-6 and 12-3 in the GLVC. They qualified for their 19th NCAA Regional Tournament, 14th in a row, and finished in a tie for second in the GLVC.

Colleen Wilhelm (Euclid, Ohio/Lake Catholic) and junior middle hitter
Ava Venema (Westmont, Ill./Timothy Christian) were named to the AVCA All-American team. They joined
Alexandra Preuss (Elmhurst, Ill./York) on the All-GLVC Team. Wilhelm and Venema were First Team All-GLVC selections while Preuss was named to the All-GLVC Second Team.
National Champions Cal State San Bernardino finished first in the rankings. They took over the top spot in week two of the poll and held on through the rest of the season. National runners-up Nebraska-Kearney ranked second followed by Concordia-St. Paul, Regis and Washburn.
