That was plenty of offense for
Katie David (Mapleton, Ill./Illini Bluffs) (13-6) as she allowed just one hit in the contest, striking out 10 batters to pick up the win. Bryn Wooldridge (4-12) took the loss, allowing six hits and two earned runs in six innings.

Serena would single to lead off the third and two batters later Magaldi drove her in with a two-run home run. Lewis wasn't done in the inning as
Jessica Lofthouse (Oswego, Ill./Oswego) drove home
Morgan Weber (Sugar Grove, Ill./Kaneland) on a fielder's choice and Kavalauskas drew a bases loaded walk to score Nilles, giving the Flyers a 7-1 lead through three innings.
The Flyers ended the game in the fifth as
Courtney Mahalik (New Lenox, Ill./Providence Catholic) drove home Kavalauskas on a single and David grounded out to score
Maggie Joutras (Shorewood, IL/Providence Catholic High School).
