Indianapolis, Ind. - The 2026 Academic All-District® Softball Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. This year, five members of the Lewis University softball program earned the honor this season.
Morgan Spodarek (Lockport, Ill./Lockport Township),
Katie Jensen (Warrenville, Ill./Wheaton-Warrenville South),
Nicole Magdziasz (Tinley Park, Ill./Providence Catholic High School),
Kristen Graham (Mapleton, Ill./Illini Bluffs High School) and
Anna Frafjord (Sussex, Wis./Hamilton High School) all collected the honor. For Graham and Frafjord, they also were CSC Academic All-District honorees in 2025 as well. For Jensen and Magdziasz, they collect their second major award of the year while it is the fourth postseason accolade for Spodarek this season as she was named All-GLVC, NFCA and D2CCA All-Midwest Region First Team.
Within the GLVC, 61 student-athletes earned CSC Academic All-District distinctions. Lewis, UIndy, Rockhurst, Missouri S&T, Missouri-St. Louis, Maryville, Drury, Truman State and Quincy all had five honorees while William Jewell, McKendree, Illinois Springfield and Upper Iowa each had four. Academic All-District® honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced later this summer.
