ROMEOVILLE, Ill. -- The Lewis University men's volleyball team has announced their 2022-2023 schedule for this upcoming season. The team plays 10 ranked opponents this year including a few at home. 

Lewis has a pair of matches in Windsor, Canada for their fall season schedule this upcoming weekend. The Flyers take on University of Windsor Friday, October 28 at 7 p.m. then takes on Western University Saturday, October 29 at 12 p.m. 

Next weekend, the Flyers go to Fort Wayne, Indiana for the Purdue Fort Wayne Invite on Saturday, November 5. The following Sunday, November 13, Lewis hosts the MIVA Preview at Neil Carey Arena. 
 
Lewis opens their 2023 season on the road in Provo, Utah as the Flyers take on No. 13 University of California-Irvine Friday, January 6 then the Flyers take on BYU Saturday, January 7. The Flyers host their home opener Tuesday, January 10 as the team welcomes Missouri S&T to Neil Carey Arena for Student Organization Club Night. Lewis will also play host to #10 University of California-San Diego on Saturday, January 14 for Polar Bear Night.

The Flyers then travel to the First Point Men's Collegiate Challenge hosted in Austin, Texas where the team will take on No. 9 Stanford on Friday, January 20 and then take on No. 5 Pepperdine Saturday, January 21.

The men's volleyball team then travels to the host of the 2023 National Championship in Fairfax, Virginia on February 3 to take on George Mason.  The Flyers then go to the No. 3 team in the country on February 9 where the Flyers will take on Ball State University. 

The team will host Preemie Night against a familiar foe on February 22 against No. 12 Loyola. The team then hits the road and takes on No. 15 Purdue Fort Wayne on Friday, February 24. 

The Flyers will hold Nik & Ivy Night on Saturday, March 18 against in-state opponent McKendree. The next week, Lewis hosts Purdue Fort Wayne at Neil Carey Arena.

Lewis hosts senior night on Saturday, April 1 against Ball State.
