ROMEOVILLE, Ill. -- The Lewis University men's cross country team finished second place at the Flyer Flames Challenge Friday (Sept. 1). The Flyer's finished with 49 points.
Leading the way for Lewis was sophomore
Owen Thomas (Valparaiso, IN/Morgan Township) who finished the 6K race with a time of 19:17.6. Sophomore
Zack Dunn (Merrilville, Ind./Merrilville) was the next Flyer to cross the finish line after recording a time of 19:22.3.
Senior
Casey Quintana (Mishawaka, Ind./Mishawaka) was not far behind Zack as he finished with a time of 19:26.8. Sophomore
Matthew Torres (Westmont, IL/Math and Science Academy) crossed the finish line next for Lewis after recording the time of 19:33.3.
Junior
Dillon Pottshmidt (Mishawaka, Ind./Penn) was right behind Torres after finishing the race with a time of 19:47.3. Next up for Lewis was junior
Jacob Kodrick (Brownsburg, Ind./Brownsburg) who had a time of 19:48.0.
Gabriel Cates (Purcellville, Vir./Loudoun Valley) finished next for the Flyers after the freshman crossed the finish line with a time of 19:51.8.
