Romeoville, Ill. – Sophomore outside hitter
Gavin Deep (Kitchener, Ontario, Canada/Blyth Academy) was selected to represent Canada at the 2025 FIVB U-21 Beach Volleyball World Championships from Oct. 15 -19 in Puebla, Mexico.

Deep will play alongside Aiden Hilkowitz of the University of Toronto at the four-day event which features 40 nations from six continents. Deep and Hilkowitz are one of two Canadian duos at the event alongside Louis Charbonneau and Henry Heider.
The Kitchener, Ontario, native is no stranger to provincial or international play as he led Team Ontario to one gold, two silver, and two bronze medals at the Provincial Volleyball Championships. Deep also earned a silver medal at the Beach National Volleyball Championship, seven gold OVA Beach Tournament medals and three silver OVA Beach Tournament medals.
