Louisville, Ky. - After another successful week on the field, the USILA announced Tuesday evening that
Malikye Good (Windsor, Ontario, Canada/St. Thomas of Villanova Catholic HS) and
Joe Janda (Livonia, Michigan/St. Mary's Preparatory HS) were each named to the USILA Division II Team of the Week.
It marks the first time this season Lewis landed two players on the team of the week and also marks the third consecutive week the Flyers have had at least one honoree as well.
On the offensive side of the ball, Good paced the Flyers with seven total points off five goals and two assists in Lewis' 22-6 win over Lynn this past week. Good has tallied four-or-more points on four occasions this season with his seven point performance against the Fighting Knights a season-best.
As for Janda, he led the Lewis defense with five caused turnovers and four ground balls in the win. Janda's five caused turnovers are the most for any Lewis player this year and the most in a single game in program history.
The Flyers will head to St. Louis, Mo., for a pair of neutral site games on the campus of Maryville University. The first will be a tilt against Rollins on March 14 at 3 p.m.
