Indianapolis, Ind. - After helping the Flyers win nine out of 12 games the previous week, senior
Anna Frafjord (Sussex, Wis./Hamilton High School) was named the GLVC Player of the Week, the league announced Monday afternoon.
The Wisconsin native is the first Lewis player to earn a weekly accolade from the league since
Delaney Garden (Carpentersville, IL/Harry D. Jacobs High School) was tabbed the GLVC Pitcher of the Week back on March 24, 2025.
Across 12 games last week, Frafjord notched a .454 hitting percentage with 16 hits, four home runs, four triples and 19 RBI. Six games saw her record multiple hits as well. Her best game was a three hit performance in the Flyers 17-0 win over William Jewell this past Sunday which saw her go over the outfield fence for a home run on two of her hits while adding in six RBI.
The Flyers will travel to Allendale, Mich. this upcoming Wednesday (March 25) for a home doubleheader matchup against Grand Valley State University, with start times set for 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. EST.
