2001: A fall Deans[apos] List student ... tied for first on the team in wins (four) ... second on the team in strikeouts-to-walks ratio (2.12:1) and lowest percentage of hits allowed for extra bases (23.6), and tied for second in fewest walks per nine innings (2.77) ... third in strikeouts per nine innings (5.86), and tied for third in appearances (15) ... fourth in innings pitched (55 1/3) and starts (seven), and tied for fourth in strikeouts (36) and relief appearances (eight) ... allowed just four home runs in 55 1/3 innings ... fanned eight in eight innings vs. Adelphi while picking up his first collegiate win ... beat Southern Indiana (7 1/3 innings, one earned run, one walk) and Northern Kentucky (nine-inning complete game, seven hits, two earned runs, two walks, five strikeouts) ... in GLVC play, made eight appearances (four starts) and was 2-3 with a 4.15 ERA and one complete game.
