2003: Academic All-GLVC, recipient of Lewis[apos] Delahanty Award for academic excellence and a Deans[apos] List student both semesters ... led the team in total appearances (17) and strikeouts per nine innings (10.09), and tied for the team lead in relief appearances (16) ... fourth in strikeouts-to-walks ratio (1.70:1) and batters struck out looking (12) ... fifth in strikeouts (34) ... picked up his first collegiate save vs. Oakland City, striking out three and allowing just one hit in two innings ... fanned a season-high five in 3 2/3 innings vs. Florida Southern ... struck out three in 1 2/3 scoreless innings vs. Missouri-St. Louis, and had two strikeouts in one-inning scoreless outings vs. Lynn and Indianapolis ... had his longest outing of the season vs. Quincy, pitching four innings and yielding just one hit, one unearned run and one walk ... aside from a tough three-inning outing vs. Coker, posted a 3.29 ERA and allowed 28 hits in 27 1/3 innings ... appeared in nine GLVC contests (most conference relief outings on the team) and had a 1-1 record and team-best 1.32 ERA ... allowed just one extra-base hit in 13 2/3 innings vs. league opponents.
2002: Academic All-GLVC, Delahanty Award recipient and a Deans[apos] List student both semesters ... led the team in strikeouts per nine innings (8.87) ... second in relief appearances (13) ... third in strikeouts-to-walks ratio (2.09:1) ... tied for fifth in strikeouts (23) ... struck out five in two innings of perfect relief vs. Northern Kentucky ... also fanned five vs. Valparaiso in his first collegiate start ... struck out four in 1 2/3 innings vs. Trinity Christian ... kept the Flyers in the game vs. Missouri-St. Louis, tossing five relief innings and yielding just one run and two hits ... appeared in seven GLVC games and had a 3.68 ERA.

High School: Earned two varsity letters as a pitcher, first baseman and third baseman ... as a senior, hit .340 with two home runs and 25 RBI and was Daily Herald and Elgin Courier-News all-area honorable mention ... helped lead Larkin to a 27-9 record that season, and a 28-9 record and the conference championship his junior year when he was 2-1 on the mound ... also lettered two years in basketball and two years in golf ... Daily Herald all-area honorable mention in basketball as a senior ... the golf team won conference and sectional titles and finished eighth in the state his senior year ... won Larkin[apos]s Sportsmanship Award as a senior ... National Honor Society member and an honor roll student all eight semesters.
