2013 Highlights: Raced in seven events, including the NCAA Championships, where he finished 21st overall in the 10K race with a career-best time of 30:59.80 to become Lewis' first All-American since 2006...had five Top 10 finishes out of his seven races...earned All-GLVC accolades for the fourth-straight year with a third-place showing of 24:12 at the 8K GLVC Championships (Oct. 26), helping Lewis to a second-place finish as a team...named to All-Region team following his seventh-place finish of 31:37 at the 10K NCAA Midwest Regional Championships (Nov. 9)...selected as the GLVC Fall Scholar-Athlete of the Year for men's cross country...picked up USTFCCCA All-Academic Honors...was second overall at the 4-mile Bradley Intercollegiate with a time of 19:54, helping Lewis win the team title....cruised to a second-place finish of 24:49.4 to push Lewis to a second-place team finish at the 8K Illinois Intercollegiate (Sept. 13)...raced to a seventh-place mark of 25:21.6 at the 8K Lucian Rosa Invitational (Oct. 12)...recipient of the Br. David Delahanty Award - given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence - and named to Academic All-GLVC Team.

2012 Highlights: Competed in six events during the 2012 season...beating career high times in the 6K at the 2012 Illini Challenge (Aug. 29) with a time of 19:04, in the 8K at the Greater Louisville Classic Gold on (Sept. 29) with a time of 24:30.35, and in the 10K at the Midwest Regional Championship on (Nov. 31) with a time of 31:09. Earned a 106th place finish in the 2012 NCAA Men's Division II Cross Country Championship (10k).

2011 Highlights: Competed in all five events...turned in an eighth place finish with a mark of 25:08.9 at the 8K GLVC Championships (Oct. 22) to earn All-GLVC honors...claimed first place in the 8K Brissman/Lundeen Invitational (Sept. 23) with a time of 24:52.8...earned a second place finish in 19:25.0 at the 6K Elmhurst Earlybird Invitational (Sept. 2)...crossed the finish line in 25:57 and in third place at the 8K Benedictine Eagle Invitational (Oct. 7)...recipient of the Br. David Delahanty Award - given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence and named to Academic All-GLVC Team.

2010 Highlights: Br. David Delahanty Award winner, given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence and named to Academic All-GLVC team...placed 12th overall in the 10K NCAA Midwest Region Championships with a time of 31:43.07 to earn All-Region accolades...named GLVC Cross Country Freshman of the Year after his ninth-place finish of 25:28 at the 8K GLVC Championships (Nov. 6)... competed in all six cross country events with four top-ten finishes...took sixth place at the 8K National Catholic Invitational (Sept. 17) with a time of 26:01...had a season-best time of 25:16.50 to finish sixth at the 8K Greater Louisville Classic (Oct. 2) ...his 10th place time of 25:53 at the 8K Illini Open (Oct. 22) in 25:53 helped the Flyers to their first meet victory in six seasons.

Prep/Personal: Two-year varsity letterwinner in both cross country and track and field...placed third overall in the regional championships and was a runner up in the sectional championships as a senior..named to All-Regional and All-Sectional team as a senior...selected to the All-Conference First Team and News Sentinel All-Area team as a senior...earned honorable mention All-Conference, Most Improved, All-Sectional and All-Regional honors as a junior...claimed Indoor All-State honors and was a sectional champion in the 3,200-meter run as a senior...named to the Honor Roll in seven out of a possible eight semesters...son of Jacob and Mary McLain...Sport Management major.
