2013-14 Highlights: Named to Academic All-GLVC Team...set the 800 freestyle relay (6:41.45) school record at the 2014 GLVC Championships (Feb. 12-15)…tallied a victory in the 1000 freestyle (9:53.88) as well as his 400 freestyle relay (3:15.22) against Carthage College (Jan. 11)...broke the pool record for the 800 freestyle (8:38.69) at Lake Forest College (Nov. 16).

2012-13 Highlights: Earned NCAA B cuts in the 400 freestyle relay (3:07.94), 500 freestyle (4:35.05), 1000 freestyle (9:28.87), and 200 freestyle (1:42.44) at the GLIAC Championships (Feb. 6-9)…captured a victory in the 100 freestyle (:48.74) against Indianapolis (Jan. 26).

2011-12 Highlights: Took fourth (9:28.91) with an NCAA B time in the 1000 freestyle at the 2012 GLIAC Championships (Feb. 8)...swam an NCAA B time of 4:31.11 for sixth place in the 500 freestyle at the 2012 GLIAC Championships (Feb. 9)...NCAA B time of 1:43.31 in the 200 freestyle earned him eighth place in the 2012 GLIAC Championships (Feb. 10)...won the 200 free by .02 of a second with a time of 1:46.33 in season opening meet at Grand Valley State (Oct. 21) and third in the 100 freestyle (49.29)...earned a pair of victories in 200 free (1:46.43) and in the 500 free (4:51.02) in win over William Jewell (Oct. 29) and member of winning 400 free relay team (3:19.89)...victorious in the 100 free (49.17) and the 200 free relay (1:29.27) vs. IIT (Nov. 4)...third in 500 free (4:44.96) on day one of Doug Coers Invite (Nov. 18), fifth in 200 free relay (1:32.26) and fifth in 400 medley relay (3:50.35)...second in 200 freestyle (1:47.09), fifth in 100 free (49.65) and third in 800 free relay (7:23.21) on day two of Doug Coers Invite (Nov. 19)...first with NCAA B time of 4:37.55 on day one of Carthage College Swimming Classic (Dec. 2) and in the 800 free relay (7:01.56)...earned a NCAA B cut time and first place finish in 200 free (1:43.28) on day two of Carthage College Swimming Classic (Dec. 3)...touched the wall in 1:45.09 in the 200 yard freestyle vs Carthage (Jan 7)...touched first in the 200 freestyle (1:46.39) and the 500 freestyle (4:50.08) vs. Lincoln (Jan. 27)...won the 200 freestyle in 1:44.82 vs. Indianapolis (Jan 28).

2010-11 Highlights: Fifth in the 500 freestyle at the GLIAC Championships (Feb. 10)...earned a seventh place finish in the 200 freestyle with a B time of1:45.66 at the GLIAC Championships (Feb. 11)...won the 500 freestyle in 4:44.32 against Grand Valley State in his first collegiate meet (Oct. 23)...victorious in the 500 freestyle (4:44.28) at IIT (Oct. 29)... finished 48th of 169 entrants in the 200 freestyle (1:43.49) at the USA Swimming/Toyota Grand Prix (Nov. 12) ...was 26th of 113 entrants in the 500 freestyle (4:38.13) at the USA Swimming/Toyota Grand Prix (Nov. 12)...champion of the 100 freestyle against Truman State with a time of 48.72 (Nov. 19)... won the 500 freestyle with a time of 4:44.31 against Wayne State (Jan. 14)...earned a 1:45.20 victory in the 200 freestyle against Wayne State (Jan. 15)...stopped the clock in 1:44.40 in a 200 freestyle victory against Lincoln (Jan. 22)...stopped the clock in 48.72 for a 100 freestyle win against Indianapolis (Jan. 29).

Prep/Personal: Club experience with Celeste Laub-Norman at the Chicago Latin Swim Club...Illinois High School Association State Meet Championship qualifier...St. Patrick's school record holder in the 500 freestyle...earned All-Conference honors and was the Sectional Champion as a junior...son of Ronald and Sharyl Carlson...sport management major.
