2016 Highlights: Recipient of the Br. David Delahanty Award - given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence - and named to Academic All-GLVC Team...Recipient of the Br. David Delahanty Award - given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence…recorded personal best time of 15:19.23 during the 5,000-meter run at the NCC Dr. Keeler Meet (May 12)…nabbed a victory in the 10,000-meter run with a time of 32:42.76 at the Benedictine Eagle Relays and Invitational (April 15).

2015 Highlights: Recipient of the Br. David Delahanty Award - given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence - and named to Academic All-GLVC Team...captured a third-place finish in the 5,000 meters with a time of 15:57.99 at the Greenville Select Invite (Apr. 4)…posted a season-best time of 32:38.86 in the 10,000-meter run at the GLVC Outdoor Championships (May 1-2). 

2014 Highlights: Named to Academic All-GLVC Team.

Prep/Personal: Four-year letterwinner in both cross country and track and field for Marquette Academy...named both Most Valuable and The Times and News Tribune Cross Country Runner of the Year as he placed 10th overall at the IHSA State Cross Country Championship as a senior...added conference, regional and sectional cross country titles in 2011...claimed All-State honors in the 1-mile run as a senior and qualified as a member of the 4x800 relay team...as a junior, qualified for the IHSA State Track and Field Championships in both the 1-mile run and as a member of the 4x800 relay team...earned Most Improved accolades in both cross country and track and field as a junior...made it to the IHSA State Track and Field Championships as a sophomore in the 3,200-meter run...helped Marquette to four regional track and field championships, three sectional championships, two conference championships and two top-10 finishes at the IHSA State Championships...earned the IHSA Scholastic Achievement Award and the Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha Award...son of Robert and Alice Weissensel...major is sport management.
