David Delahanty Award recipient - given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence and named to Academic All-GLVC Team...finished second in the high jump (5'6") at the GVSU Early Bird Invitational (Dec. 2)...won the high jump with a NCAA Provisional leap of 1.7 meters at the Dick Pond Open (Jan. 13)...earned a NCAA Provisional mark and first-place high jump of 1.71 meters at the Dick Pond Invitational (Jan. 20) and was named the GLVC Indoor Field Athlete of the Week for her efforts...finished second in the high jump (1.63m) at the Bob Keck Invitational (Feb. 4)...took home the high jump title with a NCAA provisional leap of 1.72 meters at the Chicagoland Championships (Feb. 10) on her way to GLVC Indoor Field Athlete of the Week accolades for the period ending Feb. 12th...won the high jump at the Cardinal Classic (Feb. 17) with a NCAA provisional jump of 1.73 meters to earn GLVC Indoor Field Athlete of the Week honors for the period ending Feb. 19th...automatically qualified for the NCAA Indoor Championships in the high jump with a jump of 1.76 meters in the pentathlon at the GLVC Indoor Championships (Feb. 24)...won the high jump (1.68m) at the GLVC Indoor Championships (Feb. 25)...won the high jump with a NCAA provisional mark of 1.73 meters at the Wash U Invitational (March 31)...was named GLVC Field Athlete of the Week for the period ending April 1st for her efforts...automatically qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Championships with a first-place leap of 1.75 meters in the high jump at the Hillsdale College Invitational (Apr. 14) and was named the GLVC Field Athlete of the Week for the period ending April 15th...picked up a NCAA Provisional high jump of 1.71 meters at the Mt. Sac Relays (Apr. 20)...cleared a NCAA Provisional mark of 1.70 meters to finish third in the high jump at the Beach Track and Field Invitational (Apr. 21)...won the high jump (1.66m) title at the GLVC Outdoor Championships (May 5)...placed second in the high jump with a NCAA Provisional leap of 1.7 meters at the GVSU Last Chance Meet (May 12).
2011 Highlights: Won the high jump (1.66m) at the GLVC Outdoor Championships (May 8) to earn All-GLVC Outdoor Track and Field First Team honors...took home the high jump title with a NCAA provisonal leap of 1.72 meters at the Gina Relays (Apr. 29), earning her GLVC Field Athlete of the Week honors...won the high jump (1.67m) at the ISU Pacesetter Invitational (Apr. 23)...claimed a NCAA provisional mark of 5’7” in the high jump at the Mt. Sac Relays (Apr. 15), earning her GLVC Field Athlete of the Week honors for the period ending Apr. 17th...earned a runner-up mark of 5’3 3/4” in the high jump at the Chicagoland Championships (Apr. 8)...placed second in the high jump (5’4 1/2”) at the Puma Invite (Apr. 2)...did not compete during indoor season.
2010 Highlights: Picked up NCAA Division II Indoor All America honors after finishing seventh in the long jump (5’7 1/4”) at the NCAA Championships (March 13)...earned a NCAA provisional mark in the high jump (5’6”) at the GVSU Holiday Open (Dec. 18)...was second overall in the high jump with a NCAA provisional leap of 5’5 3/4” at the Ranger Open (Jan. 22)...won the high jump with a NCAA automatic qualifying mark of 5’8 3/4” at the Chicagoland Championships (Feb. 12)...took home the high jump title at the Chicagoland Championships (Apr. 10) with a provisional leap of 5’5”.
2009 Highlights: Qualified for the NCAA Division II Indoor Championships in the high jump...named to the All-GLVC Indoor Second Team after placing second in the high jump (5’1 1/2”) at the GLVC Indoor Championships (Feb. 28)...selected to the All-GLVC Outdoor Second Team following her second-place finish of 3,911 in the heptathlon at the GLVC Oudoor Championships (May 2)...captured the high jump title with a school-record leap of 5’8” at the Titan Open (Jan. 31)...was third in the 55-meter hurdles (9.30) at the Dick Pond Invitational (Feb. 21)...was second in the high jump (4’11 3/4”) at the Chicago Penultimate Invite (May 9).
2008 Highlights: Won the high jump (5’3 3/4”) at the Dick Pond Invitational (Feb. 9)...took home the high jump title (5’4”) at the Dick Pond Open (Feb. 22).
Prep/Personal: Earned three varsity letters...was all-conference in the high jump as a senior...was fourth place in state in the high jump as a junior...sectional high jump champion...also lettered in basketball and volleyball...was school’s hula hoop champion sophomore through senior years...daughter of Karl and Patrica Linck...plans to major in social work.
