ROMEOVILLE, Ill. – Lewis University's women's lacrosse team begins its third season of competition this Sunday hosting Concordia-St. Paul at noon at Lewis Stadium. Spectators will be allowed for Sunday's contest.
The Flyers finished the abbreviated 2020 season at 2-6 with wins over Oklahoma Baptist and Felician.

Anna Rulapaugh rounding out the team's staff.
Jamie Rieger (Park Ridge, Ill./Maine South),
Alyson Jines (Temecula, Calif./Temecula Valley High School) and
Skylar Lucich (Mundelein, Ill./Mundelein) are the team's top returning scorers with each scoring nine goals a season ago while
Carlie Serritella (Chicago, Ill./Resurrection) and
Paige Bracey (Apex, N.C./Apex) added eight goals apiece.
Lindsey Traub (Indianapolis, Ind./Bishop Chatard High School) led Lewis in ground ball pickups with 24 and won 27 draw controls. Rieger and Serritella were the team leaders in caused turnovers with 11 apiece.
Brigid Fornek (Lawrenceville, Ga./Grayson) started all six games in goal last season making 39 saves and picked up 10 ground balls.
The Flyers will play a 12-game schedule this season with five non-conference contests and seven Great Lakes Valley Conference contests.
