Alma, Mich. – Lewis University STUNT opened the day with a 27-22 victory over Central Michigan University at Art Smith Arena. The Flyers and Chippewas started evenly, with both teams scoring in the first quarter to finish tied at 3-3.
Lewis found its rhythm in the second quarter, winning key routines and outscoring Central Michigan 7-5 to take a 10-8 lead into halftime. The Flyers stayed consistent in the third quarter, continuing to execute cleanly and extending their lead to 17-12 heading into the final frame.
In the fourth quarter, both teams traded points and matched each other's efforts. However, Lewis maintained control and did enough to hold off Central Michigan, closing out the 27-22 win.
STUNT closed out the day with a 28-17 win over East Stroudsburg University. The Flyers and Warriors were evenly matched early, trading points throughout the first quarter to end tied at 3-3.
East Stroudsburg gained momentum in the second quarter, capitalizing on its opportunities to take a 10-7 lead into halftime. Lewis stayed composed and continued to battle, keeping the deficit within reach.
The Flyers responded in the third quarter with improved execution, slowly chipping away at the lead and tying the score at 11-11 heading into the final quarter. Lewis then took full control in the fourth, delivering a dominant 17-point performance while holding East Stroudsburg to just six points.
The strong finish allowed the Flyers to pull away and secure the 28-17 victory to end the day
