The team of Tyson Polack (Canby, Ore., Canby), Peter Holanda (Berwyn, Ill., Morton West), Brandon Busch (East Moline, Ill., United Township) and Kyle Kummer (Addison, Ill., Willobrook, Lincoln) took second in the 200 medley relay in 1:43.76.

Junior Brandon Drogemuller (Hollister, Calif., San Benito) earned first place finishes in the 1000 free (9:51.49) and the 500 free (4:48.65).

Busch turned in a second place finish in the 200 free with a time of 1:50.95 while senior Chris Bonavolanto (Orland Park, Ill., Sandburg, Lincoln) took second in the 50 free, touching the wall in 22.28.

Derick Carlson (Norridge, Ill., St. Patrick) won the 100 free in 49.17 while he, Kummer, Busch and Bonavolanto ended the evening with a victory in the 200 free relay in 1:29.27.

"We had a lot of season best times tonight which is great to see," head coach Roger Karns said. "I'm pleased with the progress of the times because it bodes well for the rest of the season. However we're still too slow in our turns and finishes."

Lewis returns to action on December 2nd at the Carthage College Swimming Classic.
