2016 Highlights: Played and started in 33 games for the Flyers…named to the All-GLVC second team…named GLVC Player of the Week on March 21st…led team in doubles (14)…led the team in hitting (.380) and slugging (.576)…went 4-for-5 with a two-run home run against Saint Xavier (April 14)…had a double in back-to-back games, going 4-for-7 with a RBI in a day one split against Saint Joseph’s (April 16)…brought in 3 RBI, going 3-for-5 with two doubles at McKendree (April 30).
2015 Highlights: Started 41 of the 42 games he played at first base for the Flyers…went five-for nine with three homeruns and seven RBI in a double-header against Drury (March 16)…accumulated a team high 338 putouts on the season.
2014 Highlights: Played in and started 38 games at first base…knocked in a season-high five RBI thanks to two doubles and a single vs. UW-Parkside (April 1)…finished a triple short of the cycle while recording three RBI and two runs scored vs. UIS (April 12)…added three RBI with two hits and a run scored vs. Quincy (March 15)…recorded three hits, two runs scored and an RBI vs. Bellarmine (May 3)…doubled, walked and scored twice at Indianapolis (April 6)…totaled two hits, one RBI and one run scored at Southern Indiana (April 19).
2013 Highlights: Picked up 11 starts at first base in 12 appearances…tallied two hits against McKendree (March 30), including a double…picked up two RBI against Gannon (March 8).
High School/Personal: Four-year letterman at Plainfield Central … two-time Daily Herald All-Area Second Team member … named to All-Conference First Team as a junior, hitting .340, with 27 RBI, four home runs and 12 doubles … named to the honor roll for three years … played with the Northern Illinois Reds, helping the squad to win the Northwester 17U tournament in 2010 … Son of Joe and Michelle Sparacio … Special Education/Elementary Education major.
