2016 Highlights: Recipient of the Br. David Delahanty Award - given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence - and named to Academic All-GLVC Team…recipient of the Divison 2 ADA Academic Achievement Award...named GLVC Player of the Week on March 28th…led team in triples (4)…played in and started 46 games for the Flyers…finished season with a .362 batting average and .546 slugging percentage…knocked in three RBI with a season high of two doubles against Saint Joseph’s (April 17)…went 2-for-4 with a triple and a double at Truman State (March 12)…totaled four hits and a RBI at McKendree (April 29).
2015 Highlights: Recipient of the Br. David Delahanty Award - given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence - and named to Academic All-GLVC Team...played in 41 games with 42 starts at third base for the Flyers...averaged .305 at the plate for the season with a .457 slugging percentage...had home-runs in back-to-back games, going six-for-nine with five RBI against McKendree (March 28/30)...went four-for-six with three RBI in a win over Bellarmine (April 4).
Personal/Prep: Becker played two seasons at Harper College where he led the squad to a National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Sectional title and Regional tournament berth...led the team in doubles (14), triples (3), batting average (.377), on base percentage (.454) and slugging percentage (.590) in 2013...named team captain and Team MVP as well as to the NJCAA Region IV All-Region Team...at Palatine he was a two-time Mid Suburban League (MSL) All-Conference and Daily Herald All-Area honoree.
