Tony Janc arrived at Lewis from Chicago’s Mt. Carmel HS and assisted Coach Red McCarthy’s Football Flyers as the Head Trainer and Manager during the last four years of Flyer Football.  Tony also was a starter for Coach Gordie Gillespie’s Baseball Flyers during their initial years.  
 
After graduation, Tony made the Carmelite connection and landed a job at Joliet Catholic HS where he is currently completing his 24th year as a teacher/coach and his 14th year as Athletic Director.  His coaching duties at Catholic High include Varsity Assistant Coach for the successful Hilltopper teams whose credits include an unprecedented five IHSA State Football Championships.  
 
Tony and his family of six reside in Shorewood, IL.
