Ron Lesiak played basketball for the Flyers from 1980-1984. It was Lesiak and All-American teammate Larry Tucker who helped propel the Lewis basketball program into NCAA national prominence, where it remains today.
Lesiak is the second all-time leading scorer in Lewis basketball history (1783 points). His 18.3 ppg average led the team in scoring in 1984. He has a career scoring average of 15.9 ppg.
Ron Lesiak was named to the GLVC All-Conference Team in 1982, 1983 and 1984. He was voted the Most Valuable Player by his teammates in 1984. He was voted to the First All-Chicago Team in 1983. He received NCAA All-Midwest Regional honors in the same year.
Lesiak was named to the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Team and the NABC Regional Team in 1982, 1983 and 1984.
Ron Lesiak lives with his parents in Chicago, Illinois and is employed by ANR Freight Systems of Chicago.
