Lewis University Athletics

Ramos played for Lewis from 1973-1977 where he won three NAIA National Championships. He was the 15th drafted player to the MLB that came out of Lewis as in 1977 the Seattle Mariners selected him in the 23rd round of the MLB June Amateur Draft. Ramos chose to sign with the Montreal Expos when he was drafted by them in 1978 in the 17th round.

Ramos played professionally from 1978 until 1983 where he made it up to AAA. He ended his career with the Wichita Aeros (AAA).
