Robert Brusich

    A 20-year member of the Lewis University Golf Outing Committee, Robert Brusich has generously donated his services and countless hours to make that event a success.
    As a Lewis student, Brusich served two years as gym director, coordinating student activites and special events, and was a student government senator and member of Sigma Delta Fratority. A 1977 honor graduate, he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major of psychology and liberal arts, and he earned a Master of Arts degree in education at Lewis in 1981.
    Brusich served in the Lewis admissions office from 1977 to 1983, working as a counselor, high school admissions coordinator and finally as assistant director. He actively assisted the athletics department in the recruitment, advising, and scheduling of Flyer student athletes. From 1978 to 1982, Brusich held a position on the Board of Directors of the Lewis Alumni Association and was that organization's secretary and chairman of the Alumni Scholarhsip Committee.
    Since leaving Lewis in 1983, Brusich has been employed in the sales department of Russ Berrie & Co., Inc., where he holds the position of senior account executive. For the past eight years he has coached youth sports in Orland Park, where he resides with wife Karen, sons of Matthew and David and daughter Clare. Brusich also has spent the past three years as an advisory committee member of B.E.L.A., an organization that works toward the prevention of domestic abuse.
