Eshoo, a guard, was named Great Lakes Valley Conference "Newcomer of the Year," and second team all conference in 1987-88 after leading the league with a 20.6 points per game average; her 555 points are the second highest season point total ever at Lewis. She was an honorable mention all conference choice as a junior and a first team honoree as a senior, leading her final group of teammates with a 18.9 scoring average. Also an outstanding student, Eshoo was a three-time member of the GLVC All Academic Team.
