Hall of Fame
                
    Gbolahan Suliamon played soccer for the Flyers from 1973-1976.  He was a walk-on player for the soccer team in 1973 and quickly established himself as the greatest offensive player in Lewis soccer history.  He is the all-time leading scorer with 78 goals and 18 assists.  He accomplished this feat in only three years.
 
Sulaimon was voted Offensive Player of the Year in 1973, 1974 and 1975.  During those same years he was named to the first NAIA All-District Team.  He was co-captain of the 1975 and 1976 teams.  He was named to the All-American Team in 1973, 1974 and 1975.  In 1970 Sulaimon was a member of the Nigerian World Cup team.
 
He was named to the Lewis University Dean’s List of Honor Students in 1973 and 1974.
 
Sulaimon currently is a manager with the African Continental Bank Limited in Lagos, Nigeria.
 
He and his wife, Olaide, reside in Lagos with their two children – Gbolahantoto and Yetunde.
