Marty Pregenzer was a member of the track & field team from 1961-1965.  He also holds the distinction of being a member of the first organized teams in both track & field and wrestling.  As a member of the original Flyer wrestling team, Marty was the first Lewis wrestler to win a match, that coming in the third meet of the season.
 
As a member of the track & field team Marty threw the shot-put and the discus.  He held both records in those events at one time.  He is the only track & field athlete to score points in every meet he participated in during a four year period, a truly remarkable accomplishment.
 
Marty is married and the father of two children.  He is vice-president of Certified Appliance Incorporated of Irwindale, California.  Marty and his family live in Brea, California.
