Frank Kaminsky

    One of the most prolific scorers in Lewis' basketball history, Kaminsky was a four-year member of the Flyers, earning team Most Valuable Player honors in 1976 and 1977. Serving as team captain his last two years, Kaminsky was honored as a Midlands Conference and NAIA All Star, as well as Chicagoland Conference MVP in each of these two seasons. His final year saw him named as Honorable Mention All-American.
    He is the fourth all-time leading scorer in Lewis basketball history with 1521 total points. His 19.2 points per game average ranks him second in that category. After leaving Lewis, he played professionally in Europe and South America for six years. He also played one year in the A.B.A. for Louisville and one season with Sarasota of the C.B.A.
