Kim Keller was a member of the Track and Field team at Lewis from 1988 to 1992. A versatile performer, she competed in the hurdles, dashes, long jump and triple jump. She was voted Most Valuable Player by her teammates in 1990.
Kim holds all time Lewis records in the 55 meter hurdles (8.11), the 100 meter hurdles (14.10), and the outdor triple jump (37.7 3/4). She was twice a NCAA Track and Field All American in 1992 in the hurdles and long jump.
Although extremely busy with track, Kim found time to distinguish herself as a Flyer cheerleader. She is credited with starting the first dance team at Lewis in 1990, an activity that would lead her to a career with the Chicago Bulls' dance team, the Luvabulls.
