Stoklosa had a stellar two year career for the Flyer cross country and track field squad after transferring from Oakton Community College. He was a two-time All-American in Cross Country and Track Field and was the school's first national champion when he won the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the 1993 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
He ranks amongs the school's top 10 in both the cross country and track and field record books. He still holds the school record in the steeplechase which he set in 1993 and then broke in 1994. He also holds the third fastest time in school history in the 5,000 meter run and the seventh fastest time in the 1500m. In the Indoors record book he has the fourth fastest mile time, the fifth fastest time in the 3,000 meters and seventh in the 5,000 meter run. On the cross country course, he has the second fastest time in school history in the 10k and the fourth fastest in the 5k.
Stoklosa led the Flyers to back-to-back GLVC titles on the cross country and became the first Flyer to win consecutive individual GLVC titles. In 1992 he led Lewis to a fourth place finish in the NCAA Division II Championships on a rain-drenched course in Slippery Rock, Pa. He placed 10th individually in the race to earn All-American honors. His finish is the best ever by a Lewis athlete at a NCAA Cross Country Championships. As a senior he finished fourth in the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championship and helped guide the program to its first regional championship. At the national meet he helped lead Lewis to a ninth place finish for their second consecutive top 10 finish, the first in school history.
