Lewis University Athletics

Delgado arrived at Lewis as an outstanding guard from Chicago Harrison HS and soon landed a starting position on the Flyers basketball team.  He helped lead the 1965 Flyers to their only NAIA National Tournament appearance and is a member of the 1962 & 1963 baseball teams that also went to the NAIA National Finals.  
 
After graduation, Tony went to Roncalli HS and helped coach baseball and basketball.  His years since Aurora include three years at Loras College (IA), three years at Illinois Institute of Technology, seven years at Lewis University and he is currently the Intramural Director/Asst. Women’s Basketball Coach/PE Instructor at the College of St. Francis in Joliet, IL.  He is a member of the Lewis Flyers 1000-point club.
